The two-day rail journey recaptures the romance of rail travel as it winds its way along a historic 150 years old track through Canada's West and the Canadian Rockies. This daylight-only train ride ensures that you enjoy every minute of exuberant vistas like glacier-fed lakes, towering mountain ranges and untamed rivers.

The Rocky Mountaineer® train travels in both eastbound and westbound directions with destinations between the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver, the resort town of Whistler, and Jasper or Banff and Calgary, Alberta.

This luxurious and scenic rail experience has been tailored for both train lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Rocky Mountaineer® is an award winning, world renowned train. The History...
Since its inception in 1990, Rocky Mountaineer® earned its place as a luxury rail provider. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company takes travelers into the most unique regions of Canada year round.

In May 2006, Rocky Mountaineer® unveiled two new Western Canadian rail routes: the Rocky Mountaineer® Fraser Discovery Route, which taps into some rarely seen BC vistas on its way to Whistler and Jasper and the Whistler Mountaineer™ train which whisks vacationers between Vancouver and Whistler daily.

Service Classes & Routes...
Rocky Mountaineer® has four routes within Western Canada. Each route provides luxurious daylight travel within scenic mountainous regions. There are two-day, all-daylight Rocky Mountaineer® train journeys that offer you three different routes showcasing the diverse beauty of Canada's West. On each Rocky Mountaineer® journey, you stay overnight in comfortable accommodations so that you miss none of the spectacular scenery.

In addition to providing Rocky Mountaineer® Vacation Packages, we also offer basic two-day Rocky Mountaineer® rail excursions between Vancouver and Jasper, Vancouver and Banff/Calgary and Whistler and Jasper. These include the two days of rail travel and overnight accommodations. We can also assist you with reserving one-way or roundtrip journeys on the Whistler Mountaineer™ between Vancovuer and Whistler.
