Day 1 - Arrive in Calgary
Upon arrival at the Calgary International Airport, transfer by scheduled motorcoach to the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis. Remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the resort on your own.With tales of a ghost town, travelling Stoney Indians, a former POW camp and the long-forgotten tunnels of a coal mine, Alberta's Kananaskis Country has a storied heritage to rival its many spectacular outdoor and recreational pursuits. The 4,000 square kilometres of Kananaskis Country, one of eight provincial parks and wildlife areas, including Banff and Lake Louise, is an outdoor playground for all ages.

Saddle & Paddle Experience (May 15 - October) - Explore the magnificence of the Canadian Rockies on horseback! Begin your adventure day with a magical 2 hour guided trail ride along the Bow, Kananaskis or Elbow River Valleys, with the backdrop of the Rockies. Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch overlooking the scenic Bow, Kananaskisor Elbow Rivers! After lunch participants meet for an exciting afternoon for your rafting adventure. Spend2-2.5 hours on the river surfing, splashing, playing games with water canons and paddling through the rapids on a professionally guided raft. Hear stories of past cowboys, outlaws or hero's that roamed the area or keep your eyes open for our resident "friendly" bear. At the end of your adventure quench your thirst with complimentary refreshments and swap stories of your experience!
